I don't mind camping at Frontier Town they have a lot to offer for the kids, including the water park , which is free for campers. They also have some activities but we usually never participate in because we're doing other things. Its a pretty easy ride into Ocean City as well unlike from Fort whaley their sister campground. They discount the golf and going to Frontier Town and zip lining for the people how are staying at the campground. I like Fort Whaley better because it's quieter but theres not as much for the kids and it's about a 20 minute drive into town.
After I made dinner on Monday we went to the playground for a little bit and then went into Ocean City. We got the kids ice cream and walked to the kite loft and bought the kids more toys they didn't need. While we were at the board walk we saw for works on the beach and watched a couple of the street performers. We stayed out till about 1130 then went home and went to bed.
The next morning we woke up and went to the water park and of course it was packed but the kids had fun so win. We've reached a point in our lives that we've been giving them a little bit more freedom. They were able to go move about the water park without us. I'm not as comfortable with it as Paul is I'll go looking for them every so often just to make sure they're being good.I found them at one point dragging a double raft up the steps to the water slide together. I like seeing them working together to accomplish a task. We stayed about 3 hours and JP made a couple of friends that invited him to the pool the next day. We ate dinner and headed back to Ocean city To play games at the arcade. Paul got them both $20 in quarters to play if it was up to me they would have gotten $10 but I'm cheap. We played games for two hours and they won 750 tickets between the two of them and since it was packed we told them we would either come back later to get the prizes or come back the next day, well that started a war. I don't know what it is about kids they can be having a great time one minute and as soon as they don't get their way everything in their life sucks. It drives me up a wall they complained and cried they never get to do anything, all over some cheap ass toys that are going to break that might. After arguing with them for about 30 minutes and giving them chance after chance to improve their attitudes I finally made the decision to go back to the camper at 930 even though we had parking until 1130 and mad were they upset. Me and Paul stopped and got some beer gave the kids showers and sent them to bed and we enjoyed a nice quiet camp fire alone.
Wednesday the kids woke up in a much better mood, how long it would last no one would know. Its ride day but they don't open until 3pm so they have plenty of time to ruin it. I made breakfast and then we took them to the camp store to buy ice cream with the money their grandparents gave them, after that the bugging began.
