Fort Whaley Ocean City

After my parents helped me get the inside of the camper all packed up we made our way to Berlin at Fort Whaley. We arrived after stopping to at sonic for lunch and it took us pretty much all day to get the trailer set up considering I wasn't much help in the matter. After we and when I say we I mean Paul got the trailer set up we had about 20 min to go to the pool before it closed.  I didn't get in but I did go up there with them and they said the pool wasn't as warm as it was in Cherrystone.

Monday we were all set to go to the water park and of course the damn air conditioner stopped working again and this time nothing Paul did to it would help. He got up on top the roof and took the air conditioners apart and found that the bigger one was leaking into the duct work because there was saw dust caking up the drain holes. The water was dripping on the component that communicated to the  thermostat and the wires were corroded. So while Paul attempted to once again fix the air conditioning I took the truck to the pool so the kids could go swimming. Once he found the problem he came up and took the truck to home depot and Walmart to find the parts to fix it. While we were at the pool it rained and I used a towel to keep dry lol. The sky started to get really dark so we got out of the pool and the kids played on the playground for like 10 minutes when it started to drizzle I hobbled over to the pavilion and it poured down rain for a good 20 min so we were stuck there until it stopped. After that I hobbled over to the general store to sit for a little bit and just as we got there Paul called and met us there and bought the kids an ice cream. While he was at Walmart he got the kids a nerf gun because he said he felt bad about them not going to the water park and promised they would go tomorrow. We got back to the camper and Paul started on the camper again and finally got it to work after he changed out some part. he left all the windows open during the storm so I had a little bit of water to clean up but it wasn't to bad. The kids now apparently had free range of the campground which I don't really like but Paul insist they're fine.

Tuesday Paul took the kids to the water park at frontier town while I stayed at the camper. I'm getting around a lot better now and have been putting weight on my ankle but it still hurts so I was a little apprehensive when he said they were going to the boardwalk afterwards and were going to come pick me up. I made dinner while they were at the water park and on their way home Paul picked up my prescription and an ankle support from the Rite Aid. After dinner we drove the 20 minutes to the boardwalk I told myself slow and steady and managed to walk I'd say about 10 blocks up we stopped and watched fire works on the beach, the kids got ice cream and Paul got Thrashers french fries and he bought the kids and himself matching sunglasses. I walked ahead of them because it was going to take me forever to get back to the truck and by the end all I wanted was an ice pack and some ibuprofen and promised myself no more boardwalk for a little while.

Wednesday we all hung out at the campground for a little bit and I did a load of laundry. Paul had a couple of beers and the kids went to the pond and caught a baby turtle that they set free and some minnows. After that Paul took them to the boardwalk to the arcade and had dinner while I stayed back and played with the bunny and watch Harry Potter.  Later that night we had an out door movie on the blow up screen and the neighbors kid came over to watch and she provided us with popcorn and fire wood and even fed me dinner, potatoes chicken and corn on the cob. We watched Star Wars The Force Awakens with the neighbors little boy, who drove me nuts, and after it was over the kids got baths and Paul and I sat by the fire.

Thursday the kids were driving us crazy at this point, if they weren't fighting the were complaining. I'd say most of the time they were off by themselves but whenever we'd suggest something to do one would say no the other would say yes and the when we went someone would complain. We waiting till around 3 to take the kids to go to the rides at the boardwalk. We bought them both bracelet to have unlimited ride for about 3 hours. This was my first time venturing  out of the camper since we arrived at Fort Whaley. The ride bracelets cost 42 dollars I think and all they wanted to do was get on the same rides over and over again, which doesn't really bother me to much but it drove Paul crazy. At one point we split up and I took Knezie and he took JP. No one wanted to get on the roller coaster and JP didn't want to get on a couple that Kenzie did at one point JP wanted to get on the zipper but you have to go on with two people and Kenzie didn't want anything to do with it even though she's been on it like 4 times. So JP sat for about 30 minutes waiting for a partner and I finally had to go up to a boy and ask his parents if he could get on with JP and that we would pay for his tickets. JP finally got someone to go on with him and he looked really scared but ended up really liking it. Because Mckenzie wouldn't help her brother out and go on the ride with him she was punished and couldn't get on anymore rides and after waiting to get on the zipper the bracelet time was up so of course Kenzie was upset. Then we had to decide on what to do next and a plan for dinner, as usual Kenzie wanted to go out to eat and JP wanted to go to the pool so since we couldn't agree and after all the fighting and complaining I was fed up and ready to go back to the camper.  When we got back to the camper I made dinner and Paul was going to take the kids to the pool but they said it was to cold and decided to play at the pond where Mckenzie fell in the mud and earlier in the week JP fell in with his shoes on so they were no longer allowed to go there after that. More complaining followed after that and Paul and I were ready to pack up and go home a day early.

Friday we woke up and tried to start the day with a new since of vigor. Paul decided he wasn't telling anyone where we were going or what we were doing. Around noon we went up to 60 some street and played old pro golf and they had a special for 20 dollars a person you could play at any old pro and got unlimited games so we decided to make a day of it. We played 5 games of all went out to lunch when to the boardwalk went to the arcade and didn't get home that night till around 11 o'clock it was a good day.

Cherrystone August 21016

We drove up from Rodanthe North Carolina after being there for 7 days. This trip my in-laws will be with us from Tuesday to Friday and then my parents and maybe my brother will join us Friday to Sunday and we will be leaving Sunday and heading to Fort Whaley in Ocean City Maryland.

Cherrystone is in Cape Charles Virginia right by the Virginia bay bridge tunnel. After about a 3 hour drive from the Outer Banks in North Carolina and 2 stops because JP had to pee we made it to Cherry stone We stayed in a part of the campground that we've never stayed at before it was pretty far from the crabbing pier and the kayaks but it was really close to a playground and the bounce pillow that the kids were able to go to and from freely. After we arrived we got the trailer set up and put the A/C on and of course it took forever to get cool, we got there just after 2 and it didn't finally cool off till 7 or 8. We went to the pool after we were done setting up and stayed until it closed at 8 and even then the water was 90 degrees so it wasn't exactly refreshing.

Tuesday Paul had a fever so I took the kids to the pool for a while after I made breakfast and they made friends at the pool that were ironically staying like right across the street from us. So the rest of the week they were back and forth between the trailer, their trailer and the bounce pillow. Before his parents got to the campground he had his Dr call in a prescription and he drove into Cape Charles to pick it up. He told me that he went to an old pharmacy with counter service so you could get food while you waited for your medicine to be filled. He came back just in time to meet Mrs Ann and Mr Lee at the front desk. We stayed at the pool for about an hour after they arrived and when I got back to the trailer I cooked the spaghetti they brought for dinner. We stayed at the camper the rest of the night hanging out.

Wednesday the kids were gone most of the day playing with their friends Brelle at the bounce pillow. If they weren't at the pillow they were behind the bathroom catching fiddler crabs. The adults stayed in the trailer a lot of the time, it was just to hot to really do anything and the pool was hot to.

Thursday my parents drove down to meet us and stay till Sunday with Bernie after they all got off work. While we all waited for them we decided at have lunch and the pharmacy... sounds funny to say. We had lunch in the little diner inside the pharmacy ad it wasn't bad at all. It was a pharmacy meets and Hallmark store meets and diner. Of course the kids coaxed their grandparents into getting them a toy and after we ate we took a ride around the town. We stopped and walked down the fishing pier and had a look at the beach. After that Paul let us look a t some of the shops in town, mostly because he wanted to stop at the hardware store. We all went to the bait and tackle shop and got some chicken necks and a new crab trap since we misplaced our other one. The town of Cape Charles Virginia is a very quaint little town, looks clean and well kept, there a couple little shops worth going into. I wouldn't mind living there if there were places to work.
When we got back to the camper Paul got the crab traps all ready to go crabbing. Unfortunately our plans got side tracked when I fell down the steps pf the camper and twisted my ankle. Man did that hurt Paul came over and said that it might have been broken and splinted my ankle with a sheet and rope while I was crying laid out on the ground in pain. Mrs Ann and Mr Lee kept the kids while Paul and I took the 20 minute ride to the local hospital while Pall took pictures of me in pain lol. A half an hour wait and three xrays later found out it was not broken just a really bad sprain, meanwhile me ankle was swollen the size of a soft ball. So needless to say my vacation was pretty much over after that. Paul took the kids crabbing while I laid on the couch with poor Mrs Ann waiting on me hand and foot. Thank you by the way if your reading this. My parents didn't arrive till almost 1030 at night and we all sat outside for a while before we went to bed.

Friday Mrs Ann and Mr Lee left early in the morning before anyone woke up, my parents went to the cafe to have a sandwich and then took JP to the store to get yet another toy, he got ninja weapons. He came back and played ninja with Paul. I was able to get around the camp site and the trailer with my crutches but I was pretty bored most of the time. I have to be honest I could get use to people waiting on me hand and foot although it did get old after a while. My parents must have brought cooler weather though, it rained while I was at the hospital and cooled things down really well the rest of the stay. My parents took me to the cafe for a soft crab sandwich for lunch and then while Bernie and My dad went fishing my mother and I took the kids to the pool while Paul made fried chicken for dinner. I thought that I could hobble to the pool while the kids rode there bikes man I was I wrong. You don't realize how far of a walk it is until you only have one leg. I had to stop like 5 times and take a break. I finally told the kids to go on without me and get a seat. Bless their hearts when I finally go to the pool I found them with a lounge chair under a tree for me and they got another chair for my mother. We stayed there about an hour and a half while my mother ran around like chicken with her head chopped off making sure the kids didn't drown and once dinner was done my brother and father came and picked me up, thank goodness to because there was no way I was talking all the way back. Later that night the kids made a new friend and asked if they could go watch a movie at there camper so I had Paul go and check it out and he was gone for like 3 hours. He finally came back with a pan full of crabs and told me he was basically held captive by the most hospitable people from Jersey e has ever met. They gave him ice cream and pie and sent crab back for me because they knew I wasn't able to come to their site.

Saturday my parents, the kids, Bernie, and me went to the cafe for a breakfast buffet and it was really good. Paul was able to sleep in. Bernie took Mckenzie to go canoeing while Jp played with his friends after they were gone a little while Paul and Kenzie joined them and eventually Bernie came back with some claims they he caught and right after JP and Paul came back and it rained once more. After the rain Bernie took the kids to the "slip and slide" which a later found our was just the wet bounce pillow, they stayed there pretty much the rest of the day until the sun was just about down. My mother helped me cook dinner, broccoli chicken casserole. Paul took me for a little drive and then we went to the fishing pier for a little bit. I was sick of sitting around the campsite and it was nice to sit and watch the water and the crabbers for a little bit. After that we came back to the camper and had a fire and sat outside.

Sunday we woke up and made our way to Fort Whale for our last leg of the trip.
I tell you thank goodness my parents were there to help me out when I needed it sometimes all you need in life is your mommy and daddy lol. Paul really took care of me to and so did my children.

Camp Hatteras 2016

Starting off this 20 day camping trip in the outer banks at a campground in Rodanthe North Carolina called Camp Hatteras. We're staying here for 7 days and moving on. We left at around 11 am after getting the camper all packed the night before and parking it at my mother andfather in-laws over night. Paul went and got it after night work and we got the last little things packed up and we were on our way. I was smart this trip I packed  a bunch of movies, coloring books and color pencils, along with both of the kids tablets that I charged the night before, sunglasses, and a lunch and snacks for all four of us and extra drinks and stuff for me and Paul. It was smooth sailing and we didn't have any fighting or complaining at all. We were going to stop in Williamsburg but since it was going so well we didn't stop until we got into North Carolina at the welcome center where we had a bathroom break and Paul and I ate the ham sandwiches I packed. We continued on our way after a brief stop for gas and then arrived at Camp Hatteras and got into our spot on the sound side and had no problem getting into our site and got set up and I made dinner.  We're staying Tuesday to Tuesday and by Wednesday the kids met friends and were basically never at the trailer even though it was sweltering hot at like 11 am. We were basically in a field with no trees and no shade until the sun got low enough to hit the camper on the side of us. The trailer had a hard time keeping up most of the time and rarely shut off a couple times it stopped working all together and Paul had to disconnect the battery so it got pretty hot in there. The weather was really nice but it was super hot on Sunday it got up to 103.

Wednesday was a pool day we stayed there most of the day because it was so hot most of the time. You can't have fires on the ground in Camp Hatteras you have to either have a fire pit or rent one from the campground so we didn't have a fire at all and it was to hot most of the time anyway really. You are able to have a fire on the beach in a hole but since we were staying on the sound side we didn't do that either. They have an indoor and an outdoor pool. The indoor pool is right next to the outdoor pool and goes from 3 feet to 5 feet and the hot tub is right next to that. The outdoor pool is bigger then the indoor pool and goes from 3 feet to 8 feet and they have a small kiddie pool gated off from that. The only thing I really didn't like about the pool was they didn't have any tables or umbrellas so the only shade was right up against the building on one side and you were lucky to get a spot there. Fortunately we did every time or else I probably would have been a lobster. That night we went ghost crabbing, all of the things we did here 2 years ago I think this was one of the kids favorite things to do. You just go out on the beach at night with a flash light, nets, and a bucket and scoop up the land crabs as they run away. This year Mckenzie got a little brave though and got her finger bit.

Thursday was a beach day I think I've mentioned in here multiple times that I am not a beach person. I am slowly becoming one and this year I got more then waist deep in the water but I really don't like walking through sand that's the temperature of the sun to and from the beach. Not to mention all the crap you have to carry, buying a beach cart was about the smartest thing we have ever done. Once I get settled and set up I could stay at the beach all day... mostly because I dread walking back through the hot sand. This year it was so bad that on the way back both the kids were screaming that they're feet were on fire and I thought I had blisters. The only thing that saved us was the fact that we had a small bucket of water with seashells in it that I had to throw on our feet.  After heading back from the beach we stopped at the pool had a good rinse and went swimming for a while.

Friday the kids made friends with some kids at the end of our row. They were from Indianapolis Indiana and ironically their father was a fire fighter paramedic, the kids were playing in the camper with Cal and he came looking for them and the father, Mathew, and Paul talked for about an hour. During their conversation he was telling us that they were going to the Wright brothers memorial in town and of course they kids wanted to go because their friends were going. It actually worked out pretty good, even though it was really hot the memorial was nice and we met up with them there and talked and got our learn on. Mckenzie even took a note pad to take notes of the things she learned.

We stopped at a place called the Outer Banks Brewery on the way home and had lunch and bought a 15 dollars bottle of their homemade root beer. Lunch was really good and you have to admire a place that serves kids real food, not that crap that comes out of a box like some places. JP got a cheese burger and it looked just like the burger Paul got and Mckenzie got a pizza and that looked homemade to. After we ate we stopped at the food lion on the way home and got more beer and bread. We decided yet again it was to hot to go do a fire on the beach and oped to do another pool day and met the kids friends at the pool with some beer and the blue tooth speaker. I took my computer and we stayed till about 930 and had a good time drinking beer and listening to the music.

Saturday everything went down hill, the kids friends left early that morning so they were "bored". I suggested just having a nice relaxing day at the trailer but around 130 everyone was grumpy so I suggested the aquarium instead. Just as we were about to leave the damn air conditioning stopped working again and it's a good thing it happened when it did because the bunny and Elle probably would have died in the heat. So we all stayed in the truck with the air conditioning running with the bunny while poor Paul tried to get the thing going again. He wasn't having much luck so he called a service place and had someone come out to fix it that would cost $100 an hour... gag. I took the kids to the pool while he waited in the heat eventually it started working so we canceled the service and crossed our fingers. I think Paul was at his wits end because he stayed in the camper the rest of the day while me and the kids stayed at the pool and went to the "fair" and had snowballs and cotton candy and played games provided by the campground. When we finally got back to the camper he was pretty much drunk lol and we ate dinner. After dinner we decided to go fly kites on the beach and I had to drive us there lol. We had a good time flying kites and by the time we got them up it was dark and we took them down but flying kites always relaxes Paul and I think it put him in a better mood. Unfortunately he was getting sick and if anyone knows Paul he doesn't just get the sniffles he gets sick sick and sure enough by bed time he had the tissues next to him and wounds up sleeping on the pull out sofa in the living room.
Sunday we woke up and I found Paul sleeping in the living room he was going to pretty much be bed bound all day so I decided to take the kids to the lounge by the pool where they had WIFI and they could download some games on their tablets and I could catch up on my blog which is what I'm doing now. I brought games and everything for the pool just in case they got bored. JP's new favorite game is a dice game called toss up, you roll 10 dice and they have green yellow and red you have to get to 100 points and as long as you don't get all yellow or reds you keep going.

After we had enough of the lounge and did the craft that they provided we got in the pool for a half hour and then went to the the trailer had a sandwich and we were on our way again, this time to the beach around 6pm. The water was very calm and the sand wasn't hot and the sun wasn't to hot so we had a great time. The kids practiced their body surfing and I stood in the water. Mckenzie was able to make some sand castles. After we got done with all of our fun for the day we went back to the trailer where I was informed by Paul we were leaving in the morning. I got my days mixed up so I started packing everything up and the next day we headed to Cherrystone.

Sunset Beach 4th of July

Sunset Beach Resort is a new campground that open July 1st we arrived July 3rd. We got stuck in bay bridge traffic on route 50 for the first 2 hours of our trip, what should have only took 4 hours took us just over 5 but it wasn't a horrible ride just longer then we expected. Sunset beach Resort is just before you get to the Virginia Bay Bridge Tunnel w could see it from the beach. Outside looking in the campground looked very clean everything was obviously new and the lobby smelled of fresh paint. We got our site and when we arrived unfortunately it was already occupied. We told a staff member (Liam) that was walking by and he helped us right away and ran to the office to see what was going on. after several minutes he ran back and told us to go to the site next to it. I looked at him and then to the site because that site was occupied as well... him and my husband went to look at another site that he suggested but we wouldn't have fit so we took the site across the street. It had been raining there for a couple of days and all the sites are just grass so needless to say it was really muddy but we were able to get the camper in the spot no problem. This campground has a big party vibe but everyone we have met has been very nice. We have me, Paul, JP, Kenzie, Elle and we have now have a bunny named Cal Ripkin Perry. this would be my first camping trip in the new Sandpiper, this camper is so much easier to set up for both me and Paul. No more slide locks or leveling because the slides lock on there own and the trailer has a 6 point hydrolic leveling system so it levels with a push of a button and all four slides operate on the same motor so it only has one button. it was set up and ready to go with in 10 minutes and we were inside cooling off with the 2 air conditioning units. I had very high hopes for this campground being new and all but I knew going into that there would be some kinks that they would have to get out. All of signs were temporary and a lot of them were just very poorly placed to the point where some were already knocked over from being ran over and same with all the trees they planted most were right in the middle of the sites impeding on people awnings. Another thing that people were complaining about was they had a couple of things advertised that just didn't exist like the spa and an indoor dog park and the adult pool they advertised was connected to the kid pool. In order to get to the beach area you had to walk through the outdoor part of the bar where it was loud and at time unrulier. We made friends with some very friendly seasonal people a Mrs Linda and her husband who was apparently was an avid rabbit hunter to the extent that his licence plate said rabbit. It rained a couple of times but we really did make the best of it and went to the beach in the rain unfortunately because it rained the entire weekend before we got there everything was a muddy mess and because they didn't have any concrete pads due to environmental laws there was no getting away from it.
The first night we stayed was Saturday night and this campground was a big party spot because most everyone was fall down drunk and screaming and cursing and driving their golf carts around all night. we even had someone outside our room at 330 am having a screaming match. I really don't think we'll ever go back to this campground and if you do it wont be on a weekend at one point it rained in the morning a little and they canceled the kids activities for the entire day so the kids had nothing to do. It's pretty sad when even your kids said they didn't want to go back to that campground.

Meet Sandy April 2016

Paul and I finally took the steps and we got a brand new 5th wheel. Paul and I both agreed that when we started looking for a new camper a bunk house would be a must. The kids are getting older and are going to want to start bringing their friends. Plus our parents are getting older and we didn't want them to have to sleep on an air mattress. We have been looking at this camper for a couple of years now and tried to purchase is last year but the financing didn't go through. We drove from Baltimore Maryland to Lexington North Carolina its about 403 miles and should have took about 6 hours but i took us like 8 thinks to DC traffic. we arrived late and stayed over night at a hotel with our old camper in tow. We woke up early and went to me the owner over Country roads rv center http://www.crrvc.com/. I have to say that although no one was rude to us, they weren't exactly nice either. We had our dog with us and they wouldn't let us bring her inside even though we were there from 8 am to 3pm and thank goodness they were having an open house that day because they had burgers and hot dogs to eat I'm not sure what we would have ate. so after finding out that our rockwood was basically rotting from the inside out and they couldn't possibly give us what they originally offered us we cut a deal. & hours later we were back on the rd to make the 403 mile hike back to Baltimore and about 380 miles in our brakes on the trailer stopped working... We have like the worst luck with trailer I swear. we drove the rest of the way very cousiously and arrived home safely around 10pm.  I will have pictures up soon but a little description. She is 42 feet long stainless steel appliances it sleeps 10 and has a bunk house on the back with a pull out couch, 2 bathrooms (more then my house) and an outdoor kitchen with a microwave fridge and sink. I'm very excited for our first camping trip but I'll be in New York City watching my sister graduate from vet school so Paul will be taking the kids to Granite Hill on her maiden voyage.

Frontier Town 2015

We came to Frontier Town from Cherrystone in Cape Charles Virginia. I only took us a couple hours to travel and we arrived right after check in time. We were in an ok site right in the middle of the row out in the sun. We were able to get all set up pretty fast even though we were sweating our butts off.
I don't mind camping at Frontier Town they have a lot to offer for the kids, including the water park , which is free for campers. They also have some activities but we usually never participate in because we're doing other things. Its a pretty easy ride into Ocean City as well unlike from Fort whaley their sister campground. They discount the golf and going to Frontier Town and zip lining for the people how are staying at the campground. I like Fort Whaley better because it's quieter but theres not as much for the kids and it's about a 20 minute drive into town.

After I made dinner on Monday we went to the playground for a little bit and then went into Ocean City. We got the kids ice cream and walked to the kite loft and bought the kids more toys they didn't need. While we were at the board walk we saw for works on the beach and watched a couple of the street performers. We stayed out till about 1130 then went home and went to bed.
The next morning we woke up and went to the water park and of course it was packed but the kids had fun so win. We've reached a point in our lives that we've been giving them a little bit more freedom. They were able to go move about the water park without us. I'm not as comfortable with it as Paul is I'll go looking for them every so often just to make sure they're being good.I found them at one point dragging a double raft up the steps to the water slide together. I like seeing them working together to accomplish a task. We stayed about 3 hours and JP made a couple of friends that invited him to the pool the next day. We ate dinner and headed back to Ocean city To play games at the arcade. Paul got them both $20 in quarters to play if it was up to me they would have gotten $10 but I'm cheap. We played games for two hours and they won 750 tickets between the two of them and since it was packed we told them we would either come back later to get the prizes or come back the next day, well that started a war. I don't know what it is about kids they can be having a great time one minute and as soon as they don't get their way everything in their life sucks. It drives me up a wall they complained and cried they never get to do anything, all over some cheap ass toys that are going to break that might. After arguing with them for about 30 minutes and giving them chance after chance to improve their attitudes I finally made the decision to go back to the camper at 930 even though we had parking until 1130 and mad were they upset. Me and Paul stopped and got some beer gave the kids showers and sent them to bed and we enjoyed a nice quiet camp fire alone.
Wednesday the kids woke up in a much better mood, how long it would last no one would know. Its ride day but they don't open until 3pm so they have plenty of time to ruin it. I made breakfast and then we took them to the camp store to buy ice cream with the money their grandparents gave them, after that the bugging began.

Harrisonburg KOA

LOVE THIS CAMPGROUND!!!
This campground is a privately owned KOA and it's so well kept and such a nice and quiet place and everyone was so welcoming. Some of the amenities include a small pool, playground, fishing pond, mini golf, and camp store with a little cafe. The camp store will let you use horseshoes and other games and all you have to do is leave something of yours that they will give back when your finished. They also will deliver pizza and wood to your site and they also have trash pick up once a day. Our site was very spacious and they all have rock fire pits. They also have chicken running around for bug control and you and feed them and they just run where ever they like.
We arrived late on Friday because I'm now going to college so we had to wait for me and the kids to get out of school. My brother went with us but he got off work early. We arrived around 730 I think and it was pretty dark when we were setting up but it wasn't to bad because the site was really easy to get into. After we got everything set up we pretty much went to sleep.

Unfortunately I forgot to write about the rest of the experience but will say that I had a lot of homework to do this trip and I called before hand to make sure that they had wifi and I was assured that they did. When I went to get on the internet however it wouldn't let me log on. So I went to the office and spoke with an employee and she said I might have to sit in the little cafe. When that didn't
work I started to get a little angry I'm not going to lie I wanted to cuss someone out and if the lady at the counter wasn't a sweet little gray haired lady she would have gotten the brunt of it lol. Instead though I voiced my conserns to the lady and explained to her that I had homework to do and asked if there was a place near by that I could drive to and use the wifi. This lady, who will I will come to learn was the owner of the campground, offered me her personal computer in her office for as long as I needed. I had math homework so I was going to need it for a good long time. She was so sweet and helpful I don't think I have ever met someone so nice. She cleaned off her desk and offered me one of her math wiz employees to help me if i needed it and even got me a glass of water. I took up this womens office a good 3 hours and she just let me be. I made sure that I thanked her and gave her a big hug before we left.
